Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I take a class with a group of friends?

Our classes are not intended for small or large groups. If you are celebrating a special occasion or have a group of friends you’d like to try pole dancing with, we recommend booking a private party - click here for info.

  • I have no experience, where should I start?

New students with no prior experience should start with our Beginner friendly classes such as Pole Dance 1, Lyra 1, or Exotic Floorwork.

  • I have experience from another studio. What are my options?

Great! we’d love to dance with you. If you have previous experience, you can take any classes up to advanced beginner level without instructor approval. But before you come dance with us, you should know we are not a pole fitness or tricks based studio. If a physical challenge is all you're looking for and you don’t want to dance...we are not the studio for you. Please see all class descriptions for additional details.

  • What should I wear to class?

When looking at our class schedule, click "View Details" on your desired class for a full class description including recommended attire. Typically we recommend fitted shorts, a tank top and optional heels. We also recommend knee coverage such as leg warmers or knee pads for floorwork.

  • Do I have to wear heels?

Heels are always optional but recommended for some classes - see class descriptions. You can dance bare foot and introduce heels when you’re ready or never.

  • Can I come in to watch a class first?

No way. We don’t allow spectators in our classes.

  • Do I have to pay online?

Yes, our classes are intimate with limited space and require that you reserve your space in advance online with payment. We do not accept drop-ins or cash payments.

  • How many people are in class?

Our classes are small, intimate and never overcrowded. This ensures you get the attention needed from the instructor and the best overall experience. There’s never more than 8-10 ladies per class.

  • Do you share poles?

No, we don't share poles in our classes but we do share in lyra classes up to 2 students per apparatus.

  • Do you teach advanced pole dance tricks?

Beginner to upper intermediate level is our specialty. We are not a pole fitness or tricks based studio. We do offer a few upper intermediate level classes and workshops but it's not our primary focus.

  • Are men allowed in classes?

No. Our classes are for women only ages 18 and older. No exceptions.
